My first program

My first experience as a Software Developer was at school as a 9 year old. I remembered using a Casio FX9000 workstation for my first program. ( I didn’t remember after searching through the internet some time ago what type of computer was it!).

I was a huge fan of video games at the time: my father bought an Atari 2600 and was fascinated by it. He bought like 20 games. I tried to represent the game “Yars Revenge”. It wasn’t really a game, but it was my first contact with a program. I did remember that I first wrote all the program in some sheets of paper, and then typed all of it at recess. It was very satisfying when I saw the little bug moved around the screen.

That’s when I realized I wanted to be a computer engineer, just like my father was at the time.
